Refined living spaces
The elegantly furnished living/dining room has a vaulted ceiling and expansive plate-glass windows and patio doors offering a breathtaking view of the forest. A perfect place to luxuriate during your stay in Hakuba.
You will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Here, and in the whole cottage, is an entertainment centre second to none, loaded with the latest movies and TV shows — or bring your own and watch them on the region-free DVD player. There is a games console for the kids too — or the big kids among you! Needless to say, the cottage is also fully wired with broadband internet and WiFi.
Powerful fan-assisted heating and underfloor heated areas in the living room and kitchen keep you toasty warm.
The Japanese-style dining room leading off the main lounge is a cosy space for eating-in.
The galley kitchen features a massive fridge/freezer with built-in ice maker and plenty of storage space. There is a gas hob set into the countertop. You will also find every appliance you'll need.
Also downstairs is a fully-tiled wet room with a deep bath and powerful shower, a vanity room/laundry area with a washer/dryer, and a separate toilet. The bathroom, with its built-in air heating system, can even double as a drying room for your damp ski wear after a day on the slopes.
The cottage has two double bedrooms upstairs.
There is a comfortable queen size bed that can be split into two singles for complete flexibility. Crisp linens compliment the tasteful decor, offering a refined and peaceful private space.
A comfortable armchair in the corner at the tall plate-glass windows provides an ideal spot to relax with a great book after a tiring day on the slopes.
This newly added room has the wow factor as soon as you enter. It's an ideal room for the kids since it has its own lounge area and flat screen TV — but you'll probably want to keep it for yourself!
Again there is a queen size bed that splits into two singles for maximum flexibility. Trendy decor and tasteful accessories add to the overall ambience. The two windows give you views out the front and back of the house.
This room, like all the rooms in the house, has whizz-bang entertainment facilities. Or for more unhurried chill time, relax with some of the books and magazines provided for your use.
Resort-style outdoor living and dining
Wrapping around the side and rear of the cottage is a beautiful deck where you can spend all day and evening during the warmer months. There is a large dining table and chairs that seat up to 8, for enjoying family breakfasts or BBQs. The elegant sofas and reclining chair offer a comfortable area for outdoor lounging.
